Job Description:
We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a our new Director of Player Experience & Engagement.
The online casino industry is living in a linear world, when the world is on-demand, and so we are looking for a Director of Player Experience & Engagement who will relish the challenge of redefining the approach to player interaction within the online casino space. This role involves leading the strategic deployment of truly player-first engagement and not simply “paying lip service” to it. The successful candidate has to have passion for understanding player behaviour and preferences to drive real value to every player and subsequently to the business.
Responsibilities:

Develop Engagement Strategies: Create and implement innovative strategies aimed at enhancing player interaction and satisfaction across various platforms.

Lead Team Initiatives: Manage and lead the player experience and engagement team, fostering an environment of trust, creativity, collaboration, and high performance.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise analytics to understand player behaviours and preferences, using this data to tailor engagement tactics and improve player loyalty.

Campaign Management: Oversee the development and execution of targeted engagement campaigns, preferring intelligent automations over mass-marketing.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other marketing teams, creative & brand, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless and cohesive player experience.

Innovate Player Interactions: Leverage the latest technologies and trends in gamification and personalised communication to elevate the player experience.

Manage Bonus / Budgets: Oversee the budget allocated for player engagement and experience initiatives, ensuring optimal use of resources for maximum impact.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Regularly report to senior management and stakeholders about the performance of engagement strategies, player feedback, and overall satisfaction metrics.
Experience required:
- Minimum of 7-10 years in the social gaming, online gaming online or casino industry, with a proven track record in improving player engagement, loyalty and player revenue.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and drive performance in a fast, dynamic and competitive environment
- Extensive experience in strategic marketing, with a deep understanding of player experience & engagement systems and digital marketing tools used to enhance player engagement and retention.
- Strong background in data analytics and using insights to drive decision-making, customise player interactions, and optimise & automated customer journeys.
- Experience in managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously, involving cross-functional teams, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions on time and within budget.
